Risk for rheumatoid arthritis reduced for patients with T2DM

(HealthDay)—Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) have a reduced risk for rheumatoid arthritis (RA), which may be due to statin use, according to a study published online Feb. 16 in Rheumatology.
