Risk scores for predicting short-term outcomes for patients with unexplained syncope

The Canadian Syncope Risk Score (CSRS) is an accurate validated prediction score for emergency department patients with unexplained syncope. These are the results of a study titled “Multivariable risk scores for predicting short-term outcomes for emergency department patients with unexplained syncope: A systematic review,” to be published in the May issue of Academic Emergency Medicine (AEM) journal, a peer-reviewed journal of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM).
