Study: Family carers’ voices and experiences need to be formally recognized and responded to

A Trinity study has highlighted the need for family carers’ voices and experiences to be formally recognized and authentically responded to as equal key stakeholders within the health, social care and education system in Ireland. The study, which took place from September 20th 2021 to November 17th 2021, showed that the COVID-19 pandemic provided a flashpoint which exacerbated many pre-existing challenges for family carers.
